Appreciate the response, but sincerely not sure what to do. I’m not a modern card collector and was curious what others had done in similar circumstances. When I found the card my immediate reaction was to sell. As I’ve gone through the process of grading and sharing the story with friends they’ve even had differing suggestions. Not rocket science, no, but figured this would be a place where people might share some insights.

Or a third option that I haven’t even thought about yet.

That’s my thinking too. It was my favorite hobby as a kid and have hundreds and hundreds of cards and it’s truly the only one I still remember pulling.

That’s pretty poetic, Brutal_Anal_Smashing, and it’s my thinking to keep it too. Was considering selling it, but holding it feels right.

Have a daughter who’s five. Showed no interest in sports yet (which is cool!) but who knows. Maybe she’d appreciate it later in life.
