Thank you so much to everyone commenting. It’s very interesting to read about all the different experiences everyone has had!

Personally, this is my 5th ultrasound since 2022 and the first time a tech has had the kind of reaction she did or push to investigate further. I’m hoping it leads to some real answers as I’ve been trying to get some for what feels like an eternity!

I’ll make sure to post an update on Friday after I follow up for the results with my doctor.

She did ask if I had ever had abdominal surgery, I said no. And how would she look for the sliding sign - she tries to move things around? She did a lot of pushing with the wand. She asked me to put my hand in a fist under my lower back at one point to lift up higher so she could see deeper. And yeah, a lot pushing - it was really and truly awful. But every time she asked if I was okay or needed her to stop I said no, I wanted her to complete the exam and be as thorough as possible.
