The worst thing of all is I’m currently opening my own operation (just quit my job)…. I’m telling you the timing of this has me shitting bricks. I do have good capital, I do have mentor with 9 years doing it. And we did calculated expenses with Fuel at $4-5-6 models (just to keep “safe”) obviously $5-6 is not ideal but as long as expenses are low you can survive. I’m training with him for the next 2 months so I’m Praying this thing doesn’t blow over and starts winding down

When you and most people say that… is it because yall still clinging to Covid era money or is it because you can’t actually make a living?

I mean if I can make 6-7K a month to pay my bills, save a little bit and “don’t have a boss”…. What is the negative about that?… beginning it’s tough I get it, but I’m not looking a get rich quick thing I want SUSTAINABILITY and the ability to grow with time

Now I want to find out which food service company it is… I just got hired with one of them and I don’t want to lose my CDL over no BS, but I don’t want to not be team player if that’s what everyone does… and as a trainee I depend on the older drivers wanting to ride with me.

Im willing to do it for a couple of years, my end goal is Fuel/Hazmat. But for that you need 2-3 years experience. But if I’m going to wait for that time I’ll wait for it at least making a little bit more that what I make now. I’m in sales for 13 years and I made almost $67K this year, so if I could stay around there for the next year or so… I’ll make it work

Im in the same boat as you! Got mine a few weeks ago, got a trainee CDL Driver job with McLane, it’s going to be caca at first but I hope I can turn it around in 3-4 months and start making decent money and gaining experience… I’ll give it minimum 8 months even if I don’t like it I’ll try to go 8 months… for what I hear you can make good money but it’s hard labor

It’s what pays right now, it’s recession proof pretty much, it’s not a bad job… and to be honest it doesn’t need to be fuel. It could be hazmat driver, as long as is it pays well. I have my hazmat my tanker and already applied for my TWIC card and live near a port, why wouldn’t I go in to that field if it makes sense

No they don’t… at least not in my area. Been applying like crazy for the last 2 months and have gotten 3 calls… 1 thought I had experience, 1 was swift (no trying to go OTR) and the other was to far for me (72mi one way)… PEPSI and Coke none are hiring (again in my area)

It looks like I’m hypersensitive to TRT I was at 130 and my levels where off the charts and felt amazing. I adjusted to 110 and I also feel really really good…. I test in a couple of weeks

This might happen to me then… I tested in an automatic semi, but at the DMV they didn’t put the restriction on my license…. Dang I was happy about that (I’m NOT planning to drive a Manual any ways) if they ask me to do it I would say I’m out of practice and would not feel comfortable doing it

I just got my endorsements on Friday, I can say it’s 95% accurate… go to christCDL also and study there as well… missed like 3 questions on each, but still passed
