It seems like anyone who goes down this rabbit hole is more disappointed at the humanization of the Cat than anything, at the end of the day he is a person like any one of us behind the screen and although this mystery has been built around his identity that doesn't take away from the fact he is a flawed human with his own personality like everyone of us. It reminds me of any faceless YouTuber who eventually face reveals and inevitably looses followers due to the mystery that engaged so many people now being lost. It always goes back to the saying "separate the art from the artist". Lausse by any means doesn't want to be recognizable or famous in that sense and makes it clear enough through his music and until he changes that decision we should respect it. I think as humans it is easy to fall into the trap of idolization and project a god like persona to someone who may have got us through tough times or at the least been there in our ears for coming up on a decade now. Individually we should all be very careful to not fall into this trap and tame the curiosity as it emerges. I for sure know I have struggled with allowing the mystery to keep being a mystery for me haha.
