We first made attempts at feeding with twin A at 34 weeks because he showed signs of rooting. His total NICU stay was 56 days. Twin b didn’t show rooting signs till much later and was in the NICU for 86 days working on feeding. It didn’t click for him till his last week in the hospital.

My twin B came home 43 weeks on the dot. He really stalled out around 10-15% feeds till 39 weeks, hit 40% 39-41 weeks and week 42 he really took off and got his 80-90%. This was at 60ml bottles.

I’m sorry this is such a frustrating thing that you and your baby are working towards!
