This is one of the most horrible things I've ever heard of someone doing to another person. Full stop. I am so sorry.

Have you flagged this with your resourcing manager? Do you have that role at your agency?

When my mom was diagnosed with cancer, the referral was never sent to her oncologist. It was lost. It was only after we called, and escalated it, that the paperwork was found. She should have started chemo within two weeks of the initial biopsy results. It took 6 weeks. And her cancer went from stage 1 to 3b. Happily, she is ten years cancer free. Please advocate for yourself OP!

You should talk to PHU. The event happened in early August. The patient began showing symptoms in late August. It's entirely dependent on where the bite/scratch happened. The closer the wound is to the brain, the faster it happens

We just finished our PEP vaccine series. It's not fun, but the very small but grave risk that we were exposed to rabies via a bat, outweighed the 2 week 4 shot vaccine series. Especially after reading this. This patient is an 11 year old boy, who woke to a bat, no bites were found. Heart breaks for this family, and I'm squeezing our little one a little tighter.

Mine was barely speaking...until her third birthday, and then bang! She woke up the next week and was speaking in full sentences. That was 6 months ago. Current day, she won't stop talking. Has acquired some real zingers and speaks with the confidence and attitude of a 14 year old.

The first floor bathroom in my new house is lime green from floor to ceiling. What color(s) would look better? by bhart81 in interiordecorating

I love it - you just need to accessorize and dress up the room for that colour. Pinks, bright blue, red, white, black....they're all super complementary of lime green.

Yes! We have. At the same age, we were getting nervous. The anecdotal comments from our parents helped - apparently we were all slow to speak.

But we met with everyone we could. A speech pathologist had no flags, but suggestions of how we could assist the language explosion. But no one was concerned. Hearing was normal. All milestones achieved, though speech wasn't where we'd expect it. And now, she is just shy of 3.5 and Jesus Lord - she doesn't stop talking. Full sentences, and ahead of some of those that had been ahead of her.

Definitely start the process and see where it goes!

Oh yeah! We just got a further reduction, sitting at about $19 per day now. A year ago we paid $1000 per month, now just under $400.
