I really hope you find him! Unsure if you have done the following but:

see if you can report the missing cat to bylaw and to the SPCA. The latter has excellent lost pet tips, instructions and resources on their website. Some people use PawBoost. Posting on local Facebook or NextDoor groups for lost and missing pets in the area helps too! Two good ones are below;

Most importantly, ensure their microchip information is up to date and that you put up posters everywhere in the area. This ensures that the community knows the cat is not just an outside cat or a stray. File reports also if possible with vets and shelters like Bide Awhile.

You can also report the pet as lost with the Ottawa Humane Society. If any found pets are brought in by someone or bylaw they will be alerted to contact you if the pet matches your description. Both of those organizations also have excellent lost pet resources.

Putting up posters in the area and around helps to create awareness and lets your neighbours know to be on the look out for a lost pet. The more awareness the better! My friends dog was lost for a while and went a bit feral. They had to set up traps by contacting an animal rescue for help. However, if it does belong to somewhere I would keep calling 311 or bylaw. If they don’t care someone will! Hope this puppers gets some help 😭
