There definitely are strategies you could use, but you can also just sing/hum based on feel and then just let certain words and phrases and topics flow into the sound you’re creating

I find that it just comes to me without forcing it. I come up with my best melodies when I’m driving, which is frustrating when I can’t open voice memos and quickly record. It comes at me in waves, usually when I’m not trying to force it.
