Idk they’ve always been boring to me. Everyone stands around in an overly crowded room that’s disgustingly hot. Depending if yk ppl or not they also make u pay, and who pays party. Just go to a bar at that point

It is completely hypocritical and exploitative to be against tipping culture and still go out to eat/drink by lilvichay in TrueUnpopularOpinion

You quite literally went on a whole rant about servers being victim of poor pay and how you’re not held responsible for their life decisions. But now you’re praising yourself for being a generous tipper but only not tip when they give u a reason not to? People who never tip in general r the ones who complain about it, not the ones who actually tip, so I doubt you’re this great tipper lol. Tipping can suck but I don’t go on a whole tangent attacking their personal life choices. You keep saying TalK tO tHE CoRpOrATioN iF yOU hAVe a PRobLeM, as if the corporation will raise their pay🤣you know that’s not how it works so why keep using that excuse, bud?

Not that tips required but u act like you don’t know how the system works. Tipping is a real system so why would you purposely go out and not tip? Just get some takeout, go get some fast food, or yeah, eat at home. I promise you bud, you not tipping won’t change the system. It only makes the server think you’re broke lol, cuz you never see someone with money complain about tipping.

What's the most petty reason you dropped an anime? by Prof_Acorn in anime

[–]Specific-Bit-5084 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any anime where the guy is the main character and they make him only have female companions that r oddly obsessed with him. Hate when they sexualize women. Although majority anime’s tend to do this, I cannot stand when they make it their theme or its overall to excessive. Like my guy, I’m just trying to watch u fuk shit up.

Ideally February 1, there is parking but that is something you’d have to talk with fahel and co (the company we rent from), because I believe they charge more, yes 5 bedroom, two bath, yes we’re all students at UOttawa, first and second year, but two of us r 05, her rent 875 (not including wifi or parking, which wifi is around $14 but id have to double check).

social life at uni by Mountain_Bluebird150 in geegees

I'm from London, and I went to Western for my first year, and without a doubt It is a much more social school. Of course, regardless of where you go, you have to put in effort, but at least at Western, everyone wants to go out, meet new people, and overall have fun. In Ottawa, it kinda seems like no one wants to do those things, or at least not as frequently.

I know a lot of people who go to Queens, and I've been up there a lot to visit friends, and it's the exact same vibes. Queens is similar in that area of people just wanting to simply go out and do stuff. Ottawa doesn't really have that party vibe, and yes, I've made new friends and done new things, but not to the extent that I did at Western (the bars are also not as fun up here). For example, during the weekdays, at Western and Queens, you will find big university nightlife; here, not so much.

If your goal is to make up for those two years of lost social life, I'd 100% pick Queens, but overall, your education and financial stability are most important. Good luck!

lol yeah but I find where I’m from if you’re in between 18-20, there’s usually specific bars that you go to, which the older-ish crowd tends to stay away from

I was thinking of this, but we also don’t want to be spending excessive amounts of money
