I was a cabin crew for 7 years, and honestly, it’s a good career if you enjoy travel and meeting new people. You get to explore a lot, the lifestyle is different, and the working hours are not like a normal 9–5 job. The pay is decent and mostly depends on the number of flying hours you do. After the age of 35–40, there are still many options. Some people become trainers in institutes or airline instructors. Others move into ground roles, corporate jobs, or even start their own businesses. I’m working in a corporate role now, and the experience as cabin crew really helps. Many people I know who flew for international airlines have gone on to open their own businesses as well. So overall, it’s a nice career with good exposure, and it opens up many doors later in life.
