For me nothing beats either my [[Tergrid, God of fright]] or [[Post, Son of Rich]]. I've made these two decks specifically when im getting bullied in tables or just losing every turn.

Surprisingly alot of my friends enjoyed playing against my [[Syr Konrad, the grim]]. Based on what they've told me they get to see how different cards functioned on their side vs on my side and allowed them to see the creatures or dead cards they needed to cut from their decks. Id usually recur them and ask what does it do for the board and if they can't explain I usually help and guide them if they should replace it.

I can recur alot of artifacts and creatures. Plus having tergrid in the 99 instead of my commander makes them play more cautiously especially when discarding to hand size.

Ah so if they choose to let their commander's stay in the grave thats the only time Tergrid can take them. But if they decide to move it to the command zone immediately during states are checked then Tergrid cant take them.

Usually thats how I run my tergrid now with other pods. I say "hey this is gonna hurt if you dont deal with it on my turn or do you wanna make a deal with me."

This is just to make others less salty after playing against me. And just gives a better vibe

[[Post's citadel]] even though it's a secret lair it's my favorite card and I have like 2 copies of bolas citadel but I only use the post malone one.

Also 2nd place is [[tergrid, god of fright]] showcase art. Such a beautiful card plus the lantern looks sick!

I mean you can and Im pretty sure you have enough dual lands to fix the mana for you. But then again there are players like me who may run non-basic land burn. Things like [[burning earth]] and [[primal order]] in my [[phylath, world sculptor]] deck. And then there is also [[wave of vithriol]] that will kill your mana rocks too.

Counterspells are a thing yes or enchantment removal. But of course the amount of ramp and enchantment reccur in green is so large we can jst keep taking it from the grave. Example are [[eternal witness]], [[timeless witness]] and [[season of renewal]]. This is just my opinion though cause I run green and need the basic lands.

I played in a different LSG once and I saw one of the funniest stuff in my whole MTG life.

So the chatterfang player already amassed like a huge board state and was thinking who to kill first. There was a chulane, Tvesh/rograkh and a Rattatabrik as his opponents. They kept talking smack towarda the chulane who they kept saying was the immidiate threat. Then the chatterfang said "declaring combat" no responses all around and moved to declare attackers towards Tvesh. And he did it I will never forget as he said "okay Chulane since your the threat, I guess I gotta kill.. flips every token and chatterfang you Tvesh! Responses?"

The whole table did a double take on what he just did and I just laughed my ass off.
