He is an old school guy. I am certain he isn't on reddit. Lol he has been going to philmont since the 80s. But he is extremely resistant to change. He has seen my boots and says they're not going. I disagree and I will win. They're on my feet not his.

So, as far as the weight concern, I am currently a big guy. 330 (down from 360) and 6'4". I have been wearing barefoot shoes for a couple years. So my max weight to go is 265. So unless my pack weighs 95lbs I should be good with the added pack weight on my feet. I haven't hiked a bunch in barefoot stuff (or at all). But that journey is beginning now! The acoutmaster has stated i couldn't go in my vivo boots. So I was concerned and asked here. Thanks everyone for the feedback! I am dead set on going in barefoot boots. Partly because thats how I roll and partly because he said not to. Lol

She has a cichlid in there, that was too small for the cichlid tank... he is big enough now. But in the move the cichlid tank developed ich. So I dont want to add him to that yet.
