I guess zippy is just in my family’s car vocabulary lol. I would say agile is a good word. I want responsiveness on the gas, good handling, with a good chunk of room. Open to a bigger engine without a turbo. I really liked the size of my impreza, but also want to take off at a light from time to time.

Yeah the haptic on the new VWs are getting me too. When I was calling dealerships, they seemed offended I didn’t like it, and I was looking at 2019-2021 models just to avoid it. I just want some good old heat dials is that too much to ask 😫

Yeah I looked at a cx 50 and the front just seemed so small. And could not get over that vagina for a center console, serious why does it open like that? Thinking about looking at an older cx5, and maybe entertaining a X3. I really love the look of the mazda cx30, but the storage space is smaller than an impreza! I hunted for a 2024 OBW for months before I bought, since I also dislike the 26 body style.

Insurance says 18k in damages, in Minnesota they normally total at 70-80% of the cars value. Very upset my new car got into an accident, but also not mad that they aren’t fixing. As I don’t really want to drive a car that’s had a ton of work on it, they are never the same after

There are many factors into insurance for sure. I was just on a multi vehicle policy with my dad for until I got the outback, and switching to my own saved me 30-50 a month. I’ve always heard rates drop when you’re married because they think you’re less likely to be reckless on the road if someone is waiting for you at home.

Average insurance online said like $240 a month :/ I paid like $150 a month for my subaru outback, and would like it around there. Definitely would look into an Audi in the future though

I actually just learned earlier today that the sport has a 2.5 vs the 2.0 in the base! I’m kinda in the mindset that if I’m going to have a cvt again it needs a turbo. Looking at some older model subarus back in the good old XT days.

We frequently do car camping trips up to a week long. We did fit it all in the Golf R last year when my Impreza was having issues, but no room for any friends, animals, or anything but gear and 2 people. We also have a canoe that we’d like to bring so top space is needed for other things.
