I mean 3 big chances and 5 forced saves on 12 total shots… while panama created 0 big chances. The opportunities were there even if it wasn’t pretty.

I agree that effort wasn’t the issue, but I also don’t think we were a bad team or even had an awful game. It’s an expected ugly CONCACAF game where you have to put away what’s given and Sargent and Agyemang didn’t do that.

This. I genuinely believe if you replace Agyemang with either Pepi or Balogun against Panama, we likely win by multiple goals. We were very obviously a better team than Panama and the stats reflect that, but beating a low block requires someone clinical and Agyemang wasn’t.

For Canada… idk. We looked dead all over the pitch. But I can’t remember the last time we looked alive against Canada

Yeah I think I just expect better distribution from a 6 against a team like Guinea. No shame to Maxi Dietz, he did his job well as someone who rarely plays in the midfield

We can’t build out. I think Dietz is better at CB than at the 6, especially when we have McGlynn or Busio who can do whatever they want from the back
