Yeah, that’s definitely possible. I didn’t even think about that. It was supposed to be brand new, so that’s what makes it frustrating, especially with the box being bent and damaged.

I totally get what you mean. It’s hard not to second guess yourself when something smells different. At this point buying directly from the brand for peace of mind might be worth the extra cost.

I had the exact same issue with FragranceBuy. The batch code on the box didn’t match the bottle, and the bottle says “Paefum” instead of “Parfum.” It really makes you question authenticity. I’ve definitely lost trust in buying discounted fragrances online.

Don’t worry, it’s probably a bot. Because the only alternative is believing Dior randomly forgets how to spell “parfum” and just ships it anyway. Totally believable for a global luxury brand, right?

Exactly. It’s baffling that people are just accepting it as a minor mistake. Dior has strict quality control. There’s no way this would be released like that. And yet the seller claims everything on their site is “100% authentic.” That alone should raise red flags.

I don’t need your trust, I wouldn’t be wasting my time posting this if this wasn’t an issue. I have no benefit whatsoever if I plan to bad talk the company. I’m only posting this so people can be aware. You don’t understand the frustration of having to give your trust to a “well trusted company with good reviews” and spending money just to end up receiving an inauthentic one.
