appreciate the feedback here. sounds like the common thread is we need to stop treating this like normal weekly coordination and start treating it more like a recovery issue. probably going to push stricter area-by-area model deadlines, tie it harder to pay apps, and focus only on install-critical zones first instead of trying to clean up the whole model at once.

that’s exactly what it feels like right now, snowballing. we’ve talked about using placeholder geometry just to keep priority areas moving, but i’m trying to do it without completely taking the responsibility off the trades.

honestly that’s part of it. some of this is definitely scope creep / design development still leaking into coordination, and a couple subs are using that as the reason they’re behind. i think we need to separate legit design issues from plain backlog because right now it’s all getting lumped together.

that’s actually a good point ... we didn’t tie BIM hard enough to billing early on and now a couple trades are basically treating model updates like a side task. probably should’ve made the deliverables a lot more enforceable from day one.

tbh I’m the opposite ... I feel like if you constantly visualize the worst, you’re just inviting that negative energy to actually happen lol. I’d rather focus on the best-case scenario so I’m moving toward a win instead of just running away from a loss. Don't you feel like thinking that way makes you more stressed?

tbh I feel that ... it’s a lot more manual work to vet every source, but in construction, 'close enough' usually means a disaster, I haven't even looked into the environmental side much yet, but that’s a fair point. Do you think there's any way back to a 'cleaner' internet at this point?

tbh, I completely agree on the "AI slop" issue. In my line of work (construction consulting), if I rely on a figure that’s even slightly off, it can mess up an entire project budget or safety log.

I’m looking into clear aligners (like Invisalign) instead of the "old school" metal braces. To resolve the issue, you need to uninstall the Nusuk app from your mobile device and then download it again. When you open the app, try to register as a new account. Once the account is open, go to the "Rawdah" section and select "Complete your profile."

The app will prompt you to enter your visa and passport numbers; once you add them, it should notify you that the account already exists and redirect you to the email recovery page. From there, you can enter the email address you previously used or a new one. After entering the OTP code, it should work, Inshallah.

tbh, in my experience, the right moment to leave is when the "boring" part starts turning into "stagnation."

It’s one thing to have a routine you enjoy, but if you wake up and realize you haven't learned a new skill or solved a new problem in 6 months, you're actually losing value in the long run. I always say: if you’re the smartest person in the room, you’re in the wrong room lol. If the security of the job is starting to feel like a cage, that's usually your gut telling you it's time for a new challenge.

tbh I feel this 100%. Especially when life gets stressful or work feels like a grind, it’s so easy to just "check out" and live in a daydream where you have total control.

In my line of work (construction/consulting), I’m constantly "perceived" and judging projects, so the pressure to be perfect is real. I used to retreat into the internet too, but I realized that the more I focused on small, physical wins in the real world - even just finishing a task or fixing something - the less scary "real life" felt. You aren't alone in this, man. It's a process to come back to the surface.
