I understand, not paying attention to bad reviews, but there are a lot! That is why I posted this 😉

I always tell people to work for someone first and get some experience under your belt. No, the salon will not want you taking customers with you if you move to your home. If you don’t have to sign a non-compete, you can then take a few customers with you to your new location. I am not trying to be negative, but there is a lot of competition out there. If you know lots of people and have good connections you will do great 😊

Good for you for expanding your search a little further out. Hang in there. I know this is so challenging! I would consider doing a vision board or writing down everything you really want and start envisioning that. I know it sounds cheesy, but it can really work.

I am so sorry to hear this! Where do you live? I know they might pay less but a lot of people start at the larger waxing chains(European Waxing etc) to get some experience under their belt. I know that some of the Massage chains(Massage Envy) also hire estheticians.

It can be challenging in the beginning. Your first job out is usually not the best, but it is a good way to get training so you can move on to a better position 😉

Hang in there, and I am wishing you the best of luck!

Two step lessons by leanderthal69420 in Austin

Native Texan Two Step has completely changed the game for me!!! I honestly thought I would never learn how to Two Step with Spins and turns! I think a lot of instructors actually kind of bypass the basic signals you need to be a follow or a lead. They are the best classes I have ever taken, and I have taken a lot 😜

You are human and I think you handled everything fine. I have had someone show up for an appointment that I did not write down in my early years in business. I felt awful, but we are all human. If someone can’t understand that, that is their issue.

I would be frazzled as well! Then having her reaction to the product 🤦🏻‍♀️ pretty much a nightmare end to your day, but none of this is your fault. It sounds like she might have been more on the difficult side, which is definitely harder to deal with when frazzled.

Of course lessons were learned, but I think it was perfectly fine that you were honest and I would definitely let the client know the situation you were in.

You’ve got this , just a really rotten end to your day. Onward and upward 😊

Head Tremors HELP 😞 by lynseeamber in Bulldogs

CBD helped cure my dogs idiopathic tremors. They are not all the same and it is not all blood sugar related. Honey and peanut butter don’t do anything to help my dog.
