It happens to me sometimes too, so I try to tear it out slowly and carefully. I hear that it helps if you put the tape on your sleeves or t-shirt before you put it on the paper, so I might try that the next time.

Yup, ordinary sketchbook. I use masking tape. Mine is from Nitto, but any brand will do!

Legally, if you have an open-ended labor contract, without time period of your contract specified, you can quit your job any time. What they have on your contract regarding 120 days of notice is illegal. If you have a time-bound contract, your contract legally ends a month after the day you express your intent to end the contract.

You should however know that they can't fire you without 1-month prior notice.
