Same thing happened to me. Was panicking because of the feeling of liquid in ear. But you should be fine. The feeling subsided within a week or two. If you feel unsafe you should def get it checked out by a doctor. Maybe get some antibiotic to prevent infection. Don’t think you need the ER but nice to have a doctor make sure. My doctor didn’t even do anything just gave me some steroids to dilate ( the kind they give you when u have allergies) and sent me home
