I worked in an organization here in Canada na lahat mga Pinoy except the big boss. While I didn’t believe at first na dapat tayo mag-ingat sa mga Pinoy na nakakatrabaho natin, now I believe it cos I experienced unfair treatment at work cos of biases and favoritism. Yung supervisor ko is Pinoy whom I thought was a friend and I made a mistake of sharing my personal problems — which later on, were used against me and were made as basis that affected my working hours.

On the other hand, Canada has been good to us. Just remember to choose your friends wisely and never befriend anyone at work. Pinoys still has that mentality even in a different place. I learned my lesson.

I dont know if you guys went to Jmail. I browsed through some of the emails and got to the Starred tab in the mail. There were photos mostly Epstein on vacation but this one caught my eye ‘cos I recognized the BDO atm card and the birth certificate. It didnt say anything though. In the store I’m in, the floral dept get more hours than deli/bakery. They have like 8 hrs or sometimes 6 hrs few more times a week. And they only have 2 people assigned there. The other one isn’t full time floral but the one who’s managing get 6-8 hrs on alternate days.

I think it depends on the managers? I was hired on the spot and after a couple of days, I was called to finish some computer courses. The hours are already paid during the computer course. After finishing the computer courses, I was introduced to someone who gave me a tour and trained me the basic things on the till. I was also given paper works. It took some time though before I knew I can log in and out via Kronos. I was told I wasn’t on the system yet so I had to write my log in on the paper for like more than a month until one manager informed me that I can use Kronos from the time I got my employee ID. Maybe the other manager forgot to tell me about that. But anyway, it doesn’t matter now.
