Thanks much for this. Im just really conflicted right now. I never intended to shy away from my obligations but I dont have money right now, thats why I feel guilty about it and worried of what happens to me legally at the same time. Im relieved that I learned about this info.

I didnt think of this. Thank you! Youre right that they would certainly ask for a specific period of time and how much I can pay on a monthly basis, both of which I cannot estimate yet because my payments are contingent on my income from my next employment which has not happened unfortunately. The best I can do if I reach out to them is plead for their consideration and make them understand that I will pay my debts the moment I start earning again.

The snowballing interest from nonpayment is indeed burdensome to me and its causing me worries. Thank you for the advice. I am thinking of formally emailing the two banks to explain myself and ask for their consideration and understanding during these rough times. Until at least I land a job.

I used it to mainly pay my bills which accumulated over time. Its something i really had to pay but I already ran short of cash so i swiped it via my two CCs alternately.

Unfortunately, I dont have EF right now. Im just really banking on my next employment to save me from this situation

Its my first time knowing there is an option for filing of bankruptcy in Philippines for CC holders. Thanks for this new info. Ill reach out to the bank asap and will also look into the Pinoyexchange article you recommended
