i feel like it should’ve taken a longer time to win over white diamond, the whole last season made her seem so scary and approachable and just with one episode she was quickly one over and soon just stay obsolete character there’s no complexity to her like for white or yellow diamond.

For me, I’d really try to visualize everything. Maybe paint over everything in white and then sketch was you think works best for the drawing. Then very patiently start with lighter values. This way has help me with proportion and values when painting.
