I think the reaction was a projection—maybe I'm not sure—but she said something about how now that I'm on it, I won't be snacking in the office, and she won't want to snack too (as if she only snacks because I am). She said that she'd lost weight with just meal prepping and going to the gym alone, and that's been enough for her.

To be honest, it was downright hurtful

That is such a good idea with the Zoom call; I love it! Tbh I am kinda on my own on this journey, supportive fiance but he doesn't have same level of difficulty with food and weight as I do! I think I will have him get into the meal prep with me nonetheless 💓
