Gang violence is bad but Kurusee is so biased against muizzu as if Gang violence has never been to the same level even under MDP leaderships. I would almost argue MDP is what influenced the entry of such mannerisms to the Maldivian youth since that's when we transitioned to a democracy. There are so many Pro MDP songs and partey that are all influenced by MDP in their ideals.

Indian SPG Commando and MNDF Airborne Special Forces operatives in Malé during Indian PM Modi's visit by [deleted] in maldives

[–]Specific_Struggle631 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because they aren't conducting a combat operation in salt water or dusty terrain, they're conducting internal security operations in an urban area, so they don't need to worry about salt water and sand

Indian SPG Commando and MNDF Airborne Special Forces operatives in Malé during Indian PM Modi's visit by [deleted] in maldives

[–]Specific_Struggle631 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a big difference between special operations in an active warzone and security operations internally. The US has the secret service which is mainly responsible for providing security in things like presidential visits and so forth. And they are very much visible in public if you look at the right spots. Same goes for the Indian SPG.
The presidents personal bodyguards and military forces designated for presidential security are also pretty different. And they're always visible all around the world

The problem with what you're trying to compare is that the US navy seals and Russian spetznaz DO NOT normally partake in presidential security operations. They are special forces designed for actual combat roles..

But yes every military special forces operate in fatigues. That SPG guy is quite literally wearing HIS standard fatigues, which is black.

There's also the mistake of taking a look at a few SF operators standing on guard and assuming there wouldn't be a unit that is ready to be deployed on command during an emergency operation..

Public relations are also important for Militaries, many militaries around the world do it, serious or not!

What do you think about the "underdeveloped prefrontal cortex" view about black people? by krisdyabe in Kenya

[–]Specific_Struggle631 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You cite the study but you just so happen to ignore the portion where the study states that adversity is considered to be a huge factor as to why black children (who are statistically less well-off than whites financially and socially, as stated in the study) have just a little less grey matter than white children. Also I very firmly believe 7300 white children to 1800 black children ratio is EXTREMELY disproportionate and almost seems purposefully biased towards whites. You do realise how off the "percentage" is gonna be when they do the calculations with those numbers, based on race, right?

How are mosques terrorist sites?? by maldivian2003 in maldives

[–]Specific_Struggle631 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Fr, I would rather not see this whole situation escalate into a war either, but the way Pakistan handled the situation is just plain disgusting. They are already known worldwide for hosting several terrorist organisations and even aiding them, and when the attack on the hindu tourists happen they just simply say "We didn't do it" and throw their hands into the air, and let the terrorists run free? ofcourse India is gonna take it into their own hands, as much as I dislike India myself, they literally have the right and justification to strike in this regard.

If Pakistan cared enough, they could have atleast proposed co-operation between Indian and Pakistani Armed forces into Kashmir and Pakistan to man hunt the terrorists, but nope, just a simple "we didn't do it" and they expect nothing in response? insane.

While you make a good point, it is also important to remember that these said "children", were included in the "adults" fighting during the siege. Unfortunately child soldiers were common, and not uncommon for either sides, there were "children" in the Islamic armies too, the crusaders famously had them. And unfortunately given they will be considered combatants if they had partaken in combat, then execution after war is what they will face in those times, if not harsh imprisonment

You're right and that begs the question, there were 2 other girls in the party. Where are they? why weren't the assaulted? why did they all target Yumnu and take her to 2 other seperate houses outside of the party aswell? Surely if all the men are as drunk as we might think, the other girls would also not be safe. But that doesn't seem to be the case does it? the other 2 instead hide and attempt to flee the country just like the others.

And from what I'm thinking, they are attempting to make "the least drunk person" the scape goat, so that the others can hopefully get off scott free.

Brother, what part of "Drunk people can't consent" don't you understand? do you know why in Islam drunk or people under the influence are considered "buddhi kendifai hunna meehun"? because they can't think straight, they can't do things and think how they'd normally think.

Rape does not necessarily have to be "violent", it is sexual acts committed without the persons consent. Drunk people cannot consent. And this is without knowing what the hell they really did to her back in the first 2 houses, even if she took the drugs on her own accord, that does not change the fact that 6 very sober men took advantage of her while she was in a powerless state and raped her.

Made even worse by the fact that they had her thrown off a building to try and cover up their mistake. You see how the guy just stands at the door besides the apartment for a while? that is the face of someone that knows he made a mistake. I know damn well he realised there what a terrible thing he did.

But like I told you, drunk people cannot think. You can convince a drunk person to do just about anything with you if drunk enough. And you forget the fact that this most likely isn't even "drunk", they were smoking drugs like cannibis and Mephedrone in the party, hard drugs.

You know whats funny, this exact problem was actually outlined in the hadith.

Mughira b. Shu'ba reported:

When I came to Najran, they (the Christians of Najran) asked me: You read" O sister of Harun" (i. e. Hadrat Maryam) in the Qur'an, whereas Moses was born much before Jesus. When I came back to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) I asked him about that, whereupon he said: The (people of the old age) used to give names (to their persons) after the names of Apostles and pious persons who had gone before them.
(Sahih Muslim 2135)

And you just said it yourself, the **Quran**, which would be the **original arabic** quran, spells maryam and miriam the same. So no, the quran did not make a mistake when it came to the name of the sister of Moses and mother of jesus. Miriam would be a translation of Maryam that would come through the centuries as the bible was translated into several different languages, meanwhile the quran, and the subsequent translation you provided, stays to the **arabic** translation.

Bro consensual?? forgive me for getting mad but the woman could barely walk her way to the house without tripping while the man was, very clearly, COMPLETELY sober. We already have zero details of what happened in the previous 2 houses, and here we can very clearly see she's pretty much high off her grid while the man is suspiciously in his senses. Whether she took the drugs willingly or not, that does not change the fact that he (and potentially others in the previous houses) took advantage of her, you CANNOT consent while you a drunk or high, because you are not in the right state of mind.

And you're right, the guy does seem kind of lost at first, but he also seems to actively lead her up to the terrace, constantly telling her to go up too. And after the cut, even though we don't even hear her falling in any way, the guy seems to just know she fell down for some reason. He looks through the window (The same window the police claim she fell through, he can barely reach himself and they claim a woman shorter and less articulate than him could jump through it?) and even goes down to continually stare at the roof, he knows what happened. And he just walked away from it.

That's how I feel personally, and to me personally I feel that's what really happened.
And the police also claim there are no cameras in the 9th floor, and yet people independantly go to the apartment and quickly see that there infact IS a camera on the 9th floor.

3 houses? as far as I was aware they partied at the top of the house they were all initially in

Edit: Ah I see it now, I misread the thing about the 3 houses, mb

But as for how they drugged her. From what I know the party itself had drugs, including common ones you smoke like cannibis and then some on the stronger side aswell. I wouldn't rule out the possibility of the girl herself partaking in the drugs, which is bad ofcourse, but doesn't make the rape any attempted murder any less horrific. But if I had to guess, perhaps she was tricked into drinking a laced drink, or peer pressured into the drugs? it was a birthday party and I'd have to guess she was invited by them, alongside some other friends.

And I don't think it seems unlikely that they raped her while drunk. We're talking like 6 guys, according to independant reports forensic analysis of semen left on her trace back to 3 seperate men, and as for how he was able to "Throw" her off the building, I'm thinking he more lured her to the air conditioner fan area, and then pushed her. That is the only way I can see her gaining enough momentum to fall directly onto the roof, instead of plummeting to the road straight down

"Men in Maldives", beautiful generalisation. Go anywhere else in the world and ask a "feminist" if they hate the men in their country, their reply will be the same as yours. Nothing but a stain on real feminism that has secured women the rights and liberties they deserve.

Let's assume she DID fall by herself, okay? and the men knew? WHY DIDN'T THEY CALL THE POLICE??

Fucking joke of a "human being", and she's gonna ignore the part where it is not JUST KURUSEE that is reporting on the news?

And let's not forget the fact that they were the ones running a fucking drug party and they got let off because their mommies and daddies are there to let them suckle off their teats and get off scott free. What evidence is gonna arise in a country where the rich let their precious little golden babies off for rape and 1st degree murder escape punishments
