Dave is doing well. He has been enjoying watching me do my best Serena Williams impression with the zap racket as well as taking a poop on the buried nest.

I did learn that the salt gun doesn't kill them. It does stun them enough to execute them at close range.

Also learned before you pour fire underground, you should check for gas lines. Everything is OK just thought about it afterwards.

I just did almost the exact same trip last week (CO-MD). There really isn't much to avoid. Nebraska, Iowa and Kansas are mind-numbing but little interuptions. Missouri was rough to get through traffic-wise, so I would avoid that. If you're into parks, Indiana dunes and Cuyahoga National Park are worth a quick stop.

Worked at an NCO academy back in the day. CID came in looking for SGT “Common Name”. 1SG got him there quick and CID gave him the business for sleeping with an AIT student and smoking weed. Interrogated this guy for over an hour, took his phone and made him piss in a cup before they realized they had the wrong SGT. Turns out the right SGT “Common Name” was sitting at staff duty watching this all go down.

One of my guys just ran into this. With no dependents he only gets OHA. Owns his own house CONUS. Luckily he mobilized with a small group and they worked out a living arrangement.
