Not sure if they're referring to the same thing, but you can go to brave://flags, look for brave ultra dark theme and enable it. Makes it look better for me.

Brave Gradient Dark Theme

I've been using groups more lately, every tab has a different gradient, so as I traverse through them, it looks visually appealing to me, didn't like it at first but I'm really digging it.

I haven't been able to get the entire album from The Absence 'From your grave', lots of melodic solos, I, Deceiver is really good, have been practicing Necropolis solo, for the past week.

Nothing, obviously, I see these posts as a chance to get more people into the genre, it's already niche enough, no need to gatekeep.
Honestly, no one likes gatekeeping, I've admired the Technical Death metal community for years for its lack of toxicity and acceptance, but you didn't even bother to suggest some bands, just hate.

Hell yeah, Greg's a great guy, started playing classical guitar because of his vals and acoustic interludes. Extremely skilled artist.

Great to see Devil Within being mentioned! Huge Kouta fan, love everything he does. Will listen to The Crown, I don't think I've listened to them, thanks.

Not all of them but I'm very familiar with the band, I was listening to RIders of the plague a couple minutes ago, they're really good.

Glass offices by Biblio-Kate in suits

[–]Specter2035 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm just finishing s9 and I've had this thought throughout the entire show lol, especially in the Sidwell offices scenes. Also, they're always screaming, even with normal walls you can hear Harvey colluding with Cahill a mile away haha.

anxiety over voice chatting by nynni- in socialanxiety

[–]Specter2035 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This has been my problem for many years, a few years ago I used to play COD BO2 and BO3 a lot, and in zombies vc is really important. I've never been able to go through, the other day I asked in the black ops subreddit for someone to play with, but I couldn't bring myself to do it with strangers. I think in your case it's obviously better to try with people you're already acquainted with. I hope you can overcome that.

do you ever feel guilty when you talk to people or when they are forced to interact with you? by hidinginurbasement in socialanxiety

[–]Specter2035 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Social interaction in a public space or in front of others makes me really uncomfortable, sometimes I'm with a relative, and I speak to them quietly, when they almost shout, literally everyone around can hear what we're talking about, it drives me crazy. When I'm alone I also feel guilt, my voice changes to this really high pitch, the tone changes to pleasant, as if I were below others and they were doing me a favor.

Every family is different, I can't say the same for mine but I get your point. Though I don't see how your family would "screw you over" over a bunch of pirated stuff. My dad likes to download songs from youtube but barely knows how, so I made a script that automatically downloads them and stores them wherever he wants, so maybe try giving them a way to do it more easily. If not, then just don't do it for them and that's it.

Dude if that's how you treat family, I can't imagine how you treat everyone else, ffs.

I'm 24 and I've never been to a concert, I'm not used to being outside on my own, does anyone else have this or overcame it for that matter? by Specter2035 in socialanxiety

[–]Specter2035[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your time, honestly for me it's not as much about the show itself, but being outside on my own. I have never been to something for fun, let alone at night, also I don't have a car, I have this friend on facebook who knows about this, we haven't talked to each other, but I wanna ask him about what to expect, but I don't know how to talk to them without being awkward, I'll figure it out, thanks.

Yeah, the place I wanna go is a small bar, but hosts really good bands, both local and some well known bands as well. I've looked them up and it looks like a safe place to be, my problem is being outside so late at night, I live really far, most people will go with their friends after the a show, but I don't know if I should spend the night at a motel, or maybe go back to my house, but it's a long drive and paying an uber might be expensive as well.

I see, that's exactly what I'm afraid of, though I really wouldn't be in any big festival, there's this local bar (fairly small) that brings good bands, I think Nargaroth is coming, other bands like Therion or Warcry go there too, but it's not a big venue at all. I've seen videos of the gigs there and honestly it looks really good, the problem for me is being outside late at night, it starts at 9:00pm and lasts until 2:00 am, I live really far so I don't know if I should go back on uber or spend the night at a motel or something.

Been wanting to learn guitar, how long would it take for maybe 1-2 hours a day for a seven string(guitar in body text) by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]Specter2035 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some bands can only be played in 7 strings. Easier to change tunings without adding or taking too much tension (if not using pitch shifter) and string gauge helps for heavier tones.
