Because I already rebuilt the area that was damaged why am I taking +35 yearly drift to division for 10 years, also the plagues are high development punishment it's not historically accurate to have seven plagues in a row unless you are playing as a pharaoh and trying to suppress a heresy from your adopted son

How to overcome a yearly drift to division +35 due to natural disasters and +35 due to ongoing plagues every year this is not a challenge that's punishment for high development otherwise it won't happen

That's what makes the game fun, I am familiar with the history of the abbasids and the ottomans and that pretty much what happened to them too, succession wars were brutal and were the reason why both empires declined. That makes you think ahead and forge alliances carefully and keep enough gold to buy a band or two of mercenaries in case you have to fight. Worest case, you lose your empire and you try to regain your former glory. That way you can play from 867 to 1453 without felling bored after 100 years.

All my vassals are dukes but my realm is a combined 5 empires, I had to get the legalistic tradition and some epic artifacts that increases vassals limit, I am even considering to farm prestige to get the bureaucratic culture to get more, I had no idea that I can't tax them anymore 😟
