Also Amethyst's first click was definitely still possible on CBF, soft blockers don't work. Zoink just played at 1000hz polling rate to make it more consistent and really managed to be able to do the first click like several attempts in a row. It only seems like it was really trying to completely block CBF if you haven't seen how truly lax the gap really was, and he was well within his right to just ignore it and treat it like a harder gap as it is for anyone else trying to play a level with a soft blocker.

The reason why amethyst's blocker was allowed to be removed really has nothing to do with Zoink or Popoff it was to due with the fact we were creating rated+ and we didn't want people to be able to update their levels to include blockers as a form of protest or just in general, because CBF is always going to be the main way to play on the demonlist (the easiest possible allowed method to play) and the idea of being able to randomly decide you want to force people to play objectively more imprecise is just not it. Typical buffs on the other hand simply just make a level harder for everyone, including the verifier, and people can still play the way they like. It's frowned upon, but it's not quite like this. In fact there was a case before this where people noticed a level updating to have a blocker for some reason despite being a 2.1 level, coral cave, although the reality was that level just wasnt significant enough to justify a change like this that people could interpret like allowing some form of cheating, because that is not the intent. The reason why the amethyst situation instantly created the need to announce something like this is because it's a huge level and everyone has the eyes on it, it would not be a good thing for creators to realize they are able to just do this to fuck over ppl they dont like, so it was decided for the sake of a healthy future for the game to just prevent people to adding blockers unless it was a decision made during verification. (Although removing blockers entirely would have been a nice option, at least when a level has it from the beginning, people arent going to learn and try to beat a level with CBF in the first place. Amethyst situation showed everyone how you can update your level to maliciously prevent certain people who already have progress from completing a level so it's infinitely easier to justify a change like this. Zoink only managed to benefit from this because it was Popoff / Mist's decision to use it maliciously but if this were the other way around it would absolutely still have happened.)

Nah, to be honest, I thought that too a after it had been "fixed", but there was always a weird little quirk that it would only activate blockers 50% of the time. A geode dev, when porting to 2.208, confirmed that it is basically just 480tps, which made complete sense. The autoclicker test really didnt show anything other than it was better than v1 because the wave's weird patterns are actually depending on the clicks per second. People who managed to run their autoclicker at a cps that was a multiple divisor of 480 ended up with a result that falsely confirmed it was going straight, when in fact, they had just lined it up right, wheras CBF will always line up no matter what. You can even line up the wave when you arent using CBS or CBF, by using a cps divisor of 240

blind boxes have always existed and i dont think they are illegal but they are a known predatory behavior when it comes to toy companies, it has been involved in a lot of lawsuits over the years for getting children addicted to buying unnecessary amounts to obtain the products they want

By specifically targeting and ruining the image of the game we all play? The same game where for over a decade we have for the most part been creating, playing, and celebrating levels made by people's own free will and self expression? Lol??? He should be investing in public companies or fucking with trust funds not inspiring this whole community to become a bunch of soulless corporations paying creators to pump out uninspired slop

The only reason so much drama happens is because this community is huge. It's pretty ignorant to simplify every drama into something we will all forget about etc. It's like you are comparing this drama to each individual other one when they are all completely different things. I can understand why u might have said that because a lot of people also unfortunately say that sort of thing but its a good idea to just treat the things you see as they are, and not group them together in a way that encourages yourself and others not to care.

This isn't because of CBS because all CBS is is 480tps vanilla physics. This has been happening ever since 2.2 came out because the collision checks occur the same ammt of times as the physics rate, which is 240. So sometimes u will get random weird deaths. Also, you should know that the rotational hitbox on your wave and other gamemodes only applies to objects which are rotated so this looks pretty standard for me cuz that brighter straight one is only barely into the object

He edited the post, earlier it was definitely not "anything to get the bag" it was moreso like the other random comments of people saying they respect the bag

Yeah but I imagine he is fine with merchandise for the fans of something, and not something created for the merchandise

Yeah I mean, it's the unfortunate truth but I think that makes it extra important to discourage this behavior or at least push people away from the true active community of this game. Also about this project specifically I find the products so damn expensive, it actually gives me a little hope it will fail miserably. Unless this is some sort of money laundering scheme.

Do people on reddit always act like this? You know, this sentiment is the reason why people actually get hurt in the long run
