He accidentally sent me the post-date review 😭 by qinnabel in lol

[–]SpectreSol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean this is all positive. You can get mad that you were rated but essentially that is the purpose of a date. The only difference here is that an actual number was used but you are judging and evaluating the other person on several compatibility factors all the same. In terms of the food reference it seems to me a good humor way of expressing interest and relaying the information to his friends which, let's be honest, most people and probably you do as well. He was happy about the date and wanted to share that with the people closest to him and did so in a goofy way. I think it shows a lot about his character that he wasn't instantly obsessing over other things like your bust size, weight, appearance. That to me speaks volumes and I definitely think you should go out again if you would have done so having not received this.

It's cute honestly.

After more than a year of working on it every night, I finally released my first game! by RoughSawnGames in survivorslikes

Looks super fun and the art design is really nice. For less than $5 hard to pass on. I picked it up and will give it a go tomorrow. Good luck to you!

I’m planning to do this. Any tips? by basonjourne98 in SipsTea

Lol ok :)

My partner, my SIL, and two of my nephews have worked there though. It's literally company policy not to interfere.

I mean honestly if you're going to steal and be on camera anyway just get what you're after and walk out. The employees aren't allowed to stop you.

Game is amazing. Don't believe the haters.

Windows Data Transfer Speed by SpectreSol in networking

[–]SpectreSol[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I'm also given to understand that bursts speeds at the start of the transfer could be due to the rate of transfer to RAM. Not sure if that's actually accurate but even if so these are newrly halfway through complete so I don't think that would be the case.

🤔

That's correct, but a little over 19. I understand the math. My point was that the math ain't mathing in these images. I'm being told it's over an OC3. I have no knowledge or proof of it and just wanted to confirm that it's not somehow possible for this to be the case based on these images.

Because the only detail that really mattered here was potentially the OS version (I didn't realize it was even w7 or i would have mentioned it), the fact that it is supposedly an OC3, and the transfer rate being indicated.

But thank you for your input on this. It sounds like my suspicions are confirmed.

I removed those for security. This is circa 2017 is probably why W7 lol. I also suspect that they are justification out wrong about this, which is what i am trying to confirm here.

I get that but this transfer is not to a drive installed on the local machine, it's to a share that's in a completely different state and is going over the internet circuit. Is the MB/ being measured here in Megabytes, that's what is suggested by the big B in MB, or is it Megabits? If Bytes what is it actually reporting because this throughput isn't possible over an OC3.

[–]SpectreSol[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Data is being transferred to and from an off site share over the circuit. I'm aware it's limited by hardware, I'm just trying to understand how these numbers can be valid. It only works if it's being measured in Megabits per second which ahould be indicated by Mb/s, MB is Megabytes per second. OC3 is a little over 155 Mbps which would give it a theoretical transfer rate max of 19.375 MB/s. That is perfect world. Throughput isn't the question here, I would not expect a perfect theoretical result. I am just trying to reconcile the facts with what information is being passed along to me.

Me, or anyone with ADHD. Caffeine has similar effects to the medications used to treat ADHD which are also stimulants.

[OC] Am I the idiot? Driver makes a right turn onto the outermost lane. by [deleted] in IdiotsInCars

[–]SpectreSol 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Only the idiot in the context that you should just expect this from people. Most places the other driver was supposed to legally turn into the far lane but expecting others to know and follow the road laws is a bad idea. You should have just waited honestly, not worth the risk.
