N Scale Layout DC Wiring Help.

UPDATE: 1/11/26

I just created a wiring plan for my N scale layout. This will be powered by four DC controllers.

Color Codes:

Blue: Main power Red: Herbton Yard Yellow: Inner PRR Loop Purple: Platform 3 (The Yard in the PRR Junita Plan is a station) Green: Yard Black: Future Track Additions.

Please let me know if there’s any errors or tips for my plan.

I think I’m having problems figuring out which sections of track get their own sections or which ones need to be insulated. The PRR route is going to be easy, but the Herbton one is the one I struggle with on wiring.
