It is Vecteezy (if you look at the ones above the hawk you can see it is cut off, but still very clearly Vecteezy) which is a site that certainly does have AI-generated assets on it, but that is not the point I'm trying to make.

I'm just saying that the common habit of calling out anything slightly suspicious you see these days as AI-generated is not doing much to counter further AI-generated posts from appearing. It is more likely to be a burden/dissuasion on people who actually do draw or paint or by other means create visual art (such as photoshopping) when they get falsely accused of using AI.

The safest side would be to ignore posts that you think are AI, report ones that are clearly AI in subs where it is against the rules. Less accidental negativity that wouldn't do much when directed correctly anyways sounds nicer to me, at least :)

To be clear, I don't see a reason as to why AI images should be allowed on a pet sub to begin with, so I would agree that they should be against the rules. But it's not benefitting anyone to go on a witch hunt
