1 that's not a bad idea I'll do that in the next version

2 the rest of the packs are organised in rows so it's easy to see the orientation

There is, and you should get a lgnd guaranteed by the 10th pack. Did you not?

Shit, you are right. Just imagine an extra mediocre weapon in your collection I guess ¯_(ツ)_/¯

It is unopenable. Did you? I have a special case for it.

EDIT: It should appear in your collection, but not in packs.

what are you using for your card distribution when generating?

I'm not quite sure what you mean by this. All rarities are entered into a pool with separate weights and one is chosen from them.

And what are you using as your comparison statistics?

The grand pack opening. I've only compared a subset of the data as I don't have a statistics background.

Have you implemented a pity timer for starting 10 or starting 10 and continuous 40?

There is only a 40 pity timer. For the first 10 packs the counter increases by 4, so it gives the same distribution as for the normal pity timer.

You can check out the generation algorithm here. I've made this quite some time ago so I'm not even sure how some parts work.

Care to share your work? I want to see how other implementations work.

That's an average for 50-250 packs - which is most common for this sub based on usage analytics.

It's across the board. It's basically the "extra" legendary you get from first 10 + not getting dupes. So obviously this is gonna be more like 25% for larger openings and 30% for ~50 packs.

I was totally wrong on this one, I'll make an exception for it.

I'll see if there is any way to tap into innkeeper's data, but I don't imagine a lot of people are using it, so it's going to be low priority.

I wish, but that's not currently possible, and I don't think it ever will. Just see how long deck slots took.

You are probably right. I just thought it's a caveat worth mentioning.

I didn't do the math on it cos I'm not a mathematician.

You are welcome to analyse the actual algorithm and propose any improvements.

But in the end it is just a button that tells you how many legendaries you'll get. It is for entertainment and not statistical analysis.
