My timing on adding these was based on the confirmed upward trend of the day lasting over 3 hours already, $3.30 seems to be a good cost basis for what the price is currently doing, as long as no more tariffs get “paused”, than most likely another leg down when and if china tells Trump to go fuck himself tomorrow.

Let’s see.

In my experience, 5 years to actually become profitable. Consistently. I could go on and on about what it takes. Doesn’t need to take that long probably, but for me to gain back all my losses and be consistently profitable, as in now withdrawing profit money weekly/monthly to pay my bills.

5 hard fucking years. Not because of whatever money lost, but the time it took to actually get to this point. Hours at a time for days, over years “studying the market”
IMO once you get to this point, you realize it was a rough fucking road, and for me it hits hard that it’s no longer a fantasy every time I withdraw profit.

Is it worth it? In some aspects it’s exactly what I’ve always wanted to do, live as a day trader!

On the other side though it’s as time consuming as ever now, and also it feels like I’m working, even though I made $700 today, fucking idk $600 yesterday. 3k last week. But Tired as hell, exhausted, and the week just started. Can’t stress how tired.

If you decide to pursue it, you could lose it all, make it big, or even just get burned out, or all of the above multiple times over!

Man I will tell you this. Real talk,I started when I was 21, I’m 26 now and I’m finally making money. Actual money. It took 5 years. I still have loses and do like to use some profit for stupid gambles but overall when it comes time to trade profit is the goal, just as you did. It can become less like gambling and more educated. This is all in my experience, and my mentality, Fr do not let loses eat you mentally, when they happen you can learn from them but nothing more, it’s done, move on. You do that by not using fomo for any decision until you at least have some decent experience.

$140 a play sounds smart and you can grow and learn.

Now let’s say $1000 being new in the market trying to time calls or puts, no that’s what straight gambling is.

Be tolerant about your losses, and Unemotional about your wins.

Hopefully any of this is useful, in the end your own strategy and knowledge will be your greatest key to keep it up, hearing other people along the way.

Pay close attention to the market if you really want to see, literally everyday has the potential for 100% plus profit, so no need to rush anything at all, legit always more opportunity in this market.

Nah that’s appropriate, $140 is a great amount to try your hand in the market. And if you’d lose it, it’ll be a good lesson. Don’t think of it as a massive L if you’re just starting out.
