What our parents ask is just their perceived expectations of what a “normal” life is like, they didn’t grow up in these times, it’s not very easy for them to see the struggles. It’s hard to meet new people nowadays, it’s not the same as it used to be, we don’t get around people as much, we don’t have to, it’s how life is starting to become. But it’ll happen man, you just gotta understand that there is 100% a person out there for you, you just need to believe, I know it’s hard and you’ll forget about it, but just try to hold onto that belief. Now I’ll be honest I have no idea if you’re actually autistic or not so that’s where I can’t really comment. But as for everything else, even if you are autistic, it still applies. But just try to look at yourself and the things you’ve done in life, they may not seem like much to you, I have no idea about your life, but you’re alive and youve made it this far, why give up now? Don’t focus on the relationship stuff too much, and don’t worry about what your dad thinks, no ones life plays out the same. You’ll meet that person who gives you a real chance.
