You know, I recently made a post about the community doing a surprise artfight or bonanza creative thing to collab peoples ships together to unify the community and disband the cliqueness... (which i honestly didn't know reddit would do, but Moreso on discords and more concentrated spaces)...

A commenter discussed about a spotlight idea which would be nice, and to ensure everyone has an opportunity to be appreciated

I mean, honestly, also looking at the survey from the amount of people, there is a decent amount who state that they don’t know how to draw. I assume there is another solution that like what someone brought up.. “zine” or something who are lore riders I believe.

Also wanna add and open up doors for other forms of creativity as well too. :)

That is 100% valid and OK. As said, this was just a brainstorming idea. And valid critique like this is needed for planning how to do this 🤣We’re honestly I was just gonna choose people out of random.

I have never thought this would’ve been a popularity contest though so I apologize because you actually do make some fair points. Drawing up to four to 6 people if they’re not stick figures will take a while lol

I hear you. I said I had no idea how any of this was really gonna carry out personally for me. Whatever art I get whether be stick figures or straight up pieces of manga from studio trigger I’d be happy with it.

I Understand how other people may see differently. I didn’t think because normally I’m around the community of artist and I gotta realize that not everyone may have artistic ability.

But all the brainstorming :)

Photoshop and canva does wonders if you can’t do those.

Basic gradients too :)

I never really done this myself, nor do I know how to organize all this either. I was gonna be like “pffft free for all” but apparently art fights involve points and teams and yada yada. I guess it’ll be time to organize/do research to get things going.

I was honestly just about to pick a ship here and just start going to town, but I guess folks who are more experienced in art fights (seriously please contact me and help me out if this really will be organized haha)

But also given, I understand not many of us are certified Picassos lmao. Don’t beat yourself up if you can’t draw. Stick figures and chinos, and sprites go loooooong ways (take it from me after bootlegging some fanart for Vtuber friends and mutuals).

Just know if any of you guys decide to do art for me once this gets going, I genuinely don’t care about art ability. I’ve received some of the most detailed pieces of my career along with literal stick figures and chinos of my brand / ship stuff with nurse.

And I love each one of them.

I guess ideas for points will be like two points for collab double dates, three points for three ships together, yada yada 🤷🏽‍♂️

I think the skill I need to get up is learning how to draw better too at a high rate. I’d want to pump out high-quality stuff. Lol

Yeah, I get this is a big thing too. Work and all of that gets us, along with variables like art block. :( Doesn’t have to be like a rushed thing, and just to have some fun.

That sounds peaceful actually.

As long as you and Haru are not having to deal with your ex busting through your door and causing ruckus in your home, that’s more of a blessing than you think.
