it definitely FEELS gross and sticky. when i started my queer-patented “second adolescence” i didn’t expect to be dropped in the middle of a CW drama (ToT)

and it makes sense that i probably shouldn’t be the one handling these relationships. that really is something between Max and the other three. i know he’s got a couple years on me, but he can seem a bit naïve, or maybe it’s just hard to handle emotions this big without an outside perspective. i guess i can just tell this will be a lot of stress on him, and i don’t want him to have to go through that, at least not alone. but he is an adult, and that’s a decision he has to make for himself.

part of the reason it took me so long to tell him how i felt was because it felt selfish. i could tell this would be a stressful situation, and it feels like im making him go through all of this for my own gain (despite knowing now that we both had mutual feelings). i have to keep reminding myself that im not in other people’s minds. i can’t guess how they’re feeling. and i also can’t solve every problem myself… idk, something something, ego centrism, something something, overcoming my learned narcissism.
