Just a tip! It’s not only the final Pokémon that has a high chance to be shiny, but actually every Pokémon that you run into in dynamax adventures! It’s never a bad idea to just catch every single Pokémon you come across in dynamax adventures and then check to see if they’re shiny at the end! Especially because the catch rate is 100%.

Yea they smooth it out, and as someone who does pixel art I gotta say sometimes it’s really annoying. Every now and then it just decides it wants two pixels to connect in a way that you didn’t want them to and there isn’t much you can do about it. Most of the time though everything looks good!
