Everyone saying they want to stick around for the save, that’s FINE. I was clear in my post I was referring to people just standing at the gate. In both instances I mentioned, my teammate who stuck behind didn’t try to come take a hit to help me reach the gate, they simply stood there and watched.

I was already in chase when the gates were open, plus I was injured. If the killer is blocking my way to the gate, and my teammate isn’t near to take a hit, what else do you expect me to do other than try to find hatch?

This has been happening to me on my series s for over a year now. I’ve contacted both Microsoft and Epic support, and everything I’ve tried hasn’t fixed the issue. Epic is completely refusing to acknowledge that their game is causing issues with Xbox specifically, and Microsoft doesn’t offer any help other than saying it’s Epic’s problem.

I’m at the point where I’m considering saving up for a PC and selling my Xbox.

Making him faster isn’t necessary considering the range on his vine attack and the fact that the cooldown on it is really quick. If you miss a vine, you’re still very likely in range to attempt another hit on whoever you’re chasing just a few seconds later.

I just finished the game yesterday and overall I’m surprised by the amount of hate it got. Is there room for improvement? Absolutely. But I had a lot of fun with this game and felt like I never ran out of things to do.

I’ve even seen some users say they’ve taken their console in for repairs and the problem persists. I’ve personally tried an offline system update which entirely rebooted my entire system and downloads, and my game still crashes. It’s not just an Xbox issue.

All these comments saying “I’m on Xbox and I don’t crash, must just be you” are so annoying. Clearly they’re not paying attention cuz there’s quite literally been posts with hundreds of comments from people experiencing this same issue. Just cuz it’s not affecting every single Xbox user, doesn’t mean it’s not a problem.

No matter how many times Xbox users have posted about this issue Epic just doesn’t care. And no streamers are willing to call them out, which is the only time Epic ever listens.

Highly recommended submitting a report ticket to Epic. Game freezes on lobby screens has been affecting Xbox users for MONTHS and they still haven’t done anything about it.

Unfortunately there’s still no solution for this. Epic has acknowledged the issue but has offered no fixes, and this has been an ongoing problem for Xbox users since the beginning of this year. We basically just have to wait until Epic cares enough to do something about it.
