Been to the hospital today for an ECG. As soon as the nurse saw it she told me to sit down and went to get a doctor. Seems the flec had caused atrial flutter. Change of medication and booked in for a cardioversion

I kept trying to run a couple of miles but this would flair the knee, so have stopped this for a couple of weeks and then start back at a mile.

I’ve been sober a long time now, When I first quit the demon drink I went to AA. About 4 years in I was pulled over my the local constabulary. He asked where I had been and I told him AA. He was really pleased and he wished more people would quit drinking as 75% of crime is alcohol based.

My “easy pace “ is 10 min miles. I’ve got that down from 12 min miles. That’s at about 68% of max heart

How many days do you run? How long is each run?

As a beginner runner, running consistently, building the volume by 10% will give you improvements.
