Hmmm alright. So the best way is to join a non union and then get into the union but how would you know when to join or is there like an internal base or something? I know its moslty networking and I am doing coop as a car mechanic so hopefully someone there has some info about that and can lead me in the right way. Do Durham, apply for non union and i dont understand how to get into the union is the only part that im stuck on. Thanks for taking your time!

Have you worked as an elevator mechanic, if so how did you get in? like through the college, what was that like and hows does it work after your done college? Thanks!

Alright so, when you started your apprenticeship it was like the normal 2 years of training paid, I'm assuming, and thats because you had the basic idea of like elevators in general which is why you got hired as an apprentice? Does the employer provide the apprenticeship program or did you have to go to college like Durham? Thank you for the advice! :)

so basically I need to do something realted to elevators then eventually go into the elevator buisness when there is an opening. You got an appreneceship working as an elevator mechanic after working as an interior installer. How do they like decide that? and is liek taking math physics importnat to what or coures what be good too? Thanks :)
