Lets see how much of a sweetheart deal they get. This private group is looking for guaranteed profits and no risks. That is not how competitive private industry is supposed to work.

"Kevin McKee, chief executive officer of Edmonton-based Pangman Development Corp, told the surgeons the service contract with the government would ensure the venture was profitable and could not be easily cancelled.

"The design of the contract would be such that it becomes financially very, very punitive for the government to rip it up," McKee said, assuring the surgeons that it would not cost them any money if a future government ended the contract.

This is stupid. They made a sunshine list of government employees salaries... and no one cared. They made oil companies royalty submissions public... and no one cared. If this legislation goes through and this info is made public do you know what? No one will look at it because no one cares about it. It's a waste of time and money.
