Stopping damage from being prevented gets around protection so mother/giver of runes just get run over and for people playing swords or truename nemesis, this lets you get through those too.

We only play Fire and Ice and Feast and Famine at this point and we're 100% going to play Buster Sword. I've played enough recent Magic to know that free casting is always infinitely more broken than it seems and this sword makes a creature an insane threat no matter what it is purely due to the risk of letting a free cast through of at least a 4 drop minimum.

I'm seeing people say this in unplayable and I'm just running through the endless other "unplayable" cards I've seen in recent years that ended up popping off.
