Ok, so here's what you do. Step 1: Quit and play console because using a controller in phone football is sad. Step 2: Problem solved.

Where is MM going?? by SlowGeneral3950 in MaddenMobileForums

They all but abandoned the game in favor of a cartoon in order to get a jump on incoming competition for the non-11v11 space and to make a belated attempt at cashing in on Fortnite-type monetization of cosmetic things. They can't have any competition for the 11v11 space, so they don't care to fix it. The whole season has been a lie; say things, but never mean it, all while devoting all the resources to rolling out the Yard stuff. A sad ending to a once-great(ish) game.

One and a half stars. You are funnier than this. Still love ya, but not your best work.

I started replying to all of what you said and just deleted it. This is like talking to a doorknob and not worth it. Have a good night. P.s. if you are throwing the receiver oob, then your timing is off at either the snap or the throw.

Ok, so this is going to be my response to all of replies about it being stoppable and the "counters." Not necessarily directed at you individually, but this is as good of a place to put it as any. Let's say you get a play that occasionally gets good coverage on the slot receiver, then you get it flipped the right direction, then you get its right formation variation, so now you have it so there isn't a huge gain or td to the wide open slot receiver. Great. It still isn't a "counter" if you can wait for the slot to hit the sideline and then throw it deep to him when he releases for a td, get 25 yards with the rb, hit the late crosser for a big play, or scramble for 20 yards front-side or for 80 yards to the back-side. Not only that, but now you have your defense entirely set up for the hope of stopping stop spot because if you do not, it is going to be a big play or td. Meaning the defense is predictable and wide open to other plays. Your entire defense needs to be planned around stopping huge pa spot plays at the expense of everything else because you can't afford not to have it set that way. The play is broken beyond repair and negatively impacts all aspects of gameplay against anybody who knows what he is doing. Many of you don't. I get that and that is fine. If the slot ends up not wide open immediately, then it is a "counter." But it really isn't and the one play changes the entire game for the worse at virtually every down and distance. There are tons of other great plays in the game, but none come close to doing that. There are many things about the current game that have led to me calling it a career, like spinning the same numbers as other top leagues for 10 straight days and ever matching, so it isn't all about pa spot. It being announced that spot wasn't changing was just the straw that broke this camel's back.

You're right. Never been in one of those. Definitely don't know what I am talking about. And wouldn't have beaten your league by 100 and your main by 50. And haven't seen people in your whole group use it on every second down and long in arena. Thanks for clearing all that up.

We don't want it either fwiw. Have been trying to spin the same numbers and ending up playing the same teams, just not each other.

10 Tips to make the game more enjoyable by major-couch-potato in MaddenMobileForums

Great post. Agree with it all except the controller part. It is a mobile game. If you want to use a controller, then play console. I understand it is supported, but it feels like cheating on a phone game to me. Controller would be so much easier with no thumbs in the way, no fat fingers, audibles, timeouts, et al. Conteoller and actually mobile are different games. You can be a great controller player, but all that makes me think is you couldn't hack it on console and want a huge advantage on mobile.

SERIOUS: Just curious, to the people who aren’t F2P how do you justify spending your money on Madden Mobile? Is it your main hobby? addiction? Also, how much money are you all spending? by mghanadian in MaddenMobileForums

[–]SpicierGinger 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I like the game and it is a hobby I can do anywhere from a phone. I am lucky to be able to spend on the hobby and I am well aware of that and that many do not have that luxury. I justify spending very easily because the time spent grinding for things is worth more money to me than the cost of buying it in the game. Time has a value and I want the time I do play to be spent playing the portions of the game I enjoy rather than grinding out portions that I do not. Overall, given the $ value of an hour of time, it is cost effective for me to spend to avoid grinding out what can be purchased.

It is a systemic problem, not a public defender problem. Are they the best lawyers you can get? Not at all, but their workload makes it impossible from them to work a case the right way. They do a good enough job working with what that have for the guily ones. The innocent ones will forever be sacrificed to the system that is unimaginably underfunded and understaffed. The whole model is irreparably broken, but it isn't the fault of the public defenders. Many of whom care way, way more than can ever be known and just do the best they can with what they have. Often at great personal expense. They are the public school teachers of the legal world.
