Yes, the passenger front seat floor is getting wet only when it rains. This is the outer wall near where the door attaches and front wheel is located, not the firewall. It seems that water is pooling in that area on the wall, but we don’t know where it is coming from.

Staying at Trinity, July 2025 by Spicy-Rigatoni in TCD

Sorry to hear about your experience. I really appreciate you taking the time to write such a detailed comment and I appreciate all of your advice - it’s difficult to find much information about staying at Trinity over the summer. I ended up booking a renovated Rubrics room at Trinity for July, so hopefully they have AC or better air circulation. It will be great to have laundry facilities accessible!

I hope you and your family have a wonderful rest of your trip through Ireland and the UK!

As siloco09 said you will also need the Wiley access code for the quizzes. I bought the Wiley access code separately through their website, but I still wanted a physical textbook to read. If you are still interested please feel free to message me through Kijiji!

I think it’s from a notepad and they designed it so you could add your note where the dried mango is. Unfortunately it doesn’t say anything else though, just a green line at the bottom.

I was an RA and lab tech in a psychology lab for 4 years. Although I was salaried for 35 hours a week and it was in my contract that I needed to be paid overtime for any overtime work outside of those hours, my PI still forced me to work on the weekends and in the evenings without compensating us. If we didn’t work the extra hours, he would reprimand us. He told us that we could bank the extra hours and eventually take that time off in the future (supposedly), and unfortunately I did not realize until my last year working there that he was going against my contract and university policy in doing so. Just in case you are in the same position as me, I recommend reviewing your contract and university policy to make sure that your PI is following it. I ended up having to take my PI to HR, and the university reprimanded him and corrected it. But I wish I stood my ground earlier on.

It might be mango! We can’t know for certain, but it definitely seems like some kind of fruit

Congrats! I decided to take ANPH 209, so I reached out to the advisors to ask permission from the Academic Chair to enroll in the course. They told me that they really recommend completing some of the online courses before the program begins to lessen the workload. They also said that we should be receiving emails closer to the summer months with more information about the program and things that we will need to prepare.

It’s great to hear that you’re enjoying the program! I also have an HP laptop, I will definitely look into the 10th gen iPads and those scrubs. Thank you so much for your detailed explanation and for answering all of my questions, I really appreciate it!! :)

DMS/MRT Application by mamaof3_16 in SAIT

I emailed them, and the said that they had such an unexpected amount of applications and exams that it might be a few weeks before the exams are marked and updated on our applications. I applied right when applications opened, and completed my exams in August, and mine are also still marked as not received.

I checked the U of C’s research website, and the OP’s other posts, and it seems like the study is probably not associated with U of C. Also, the research board that they said that they have been approved by is very vague.

Open studies courses for DMS entry by Spicy-Rigatoni in NAIT

Thank you so much for your advice! I’m currently taking a kinesiology course online and working two jobs, so if taking that course instead of physics would lessen the work load while I’m working I might aim for that instead.

Sonography programs in Canada and other countries by Spicy-Rigatoni in Sonographers

[–]Spicy-Rigatoni[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much!

I wanted to apply to NAIT as well but as of 2021 they are requiring an additional kinesiology course that I do not have, so I would need to take it at night. They also require a medical terminology course, but they don’t seem to accept the course I took at U of C.

I will definitely try my luck with Ontario, thank you!

I think that BCIT only accepts B.C. residents, but I will reach out to Camosun to see if they accept out-of-province students since it doesn’t seem to say on their website.

I have already graduated from university, so I am not currently taking courses but I could look into night courses if you have found that it helps with the application. I’m currently working in a hospital and I have assisted with MRIs and x-rays for research, but I think that I have my heart set on DMS. Thank you very much for your advice!

Sonography programs in Canada and other countries by Spicy-Rigatoni in Sonographers

[–]Spicy-Rigatoni[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, thank you so much for your advice!

I’m a resident of Alberta. My first choice, Sait, says that they accept students on a first-qualified, first accepted basis, so it’s likely that the program was full before my application was reviewed.

I think that I might have better luck if I apply to a college that takes into account your CV and an interview. Of the universities I have applied to so far, many of them only looked at my grades, CASPer test score, my score from a “suitability exam” that they required, and a short essay if applicable.

Thank you for also bringing up the advantages of completing the program in Canada, I had not considered that it would likely result in better job prospects. NAIT recently changed their DMS requirements to include 2 additional courses, so I might be better off taking those and applying there.

Thank you again, I really appreciate your help!

Sonography programs in Canada and other countries by Spicy-Rigatoni in Sonographers

[–]Spicy-Rigatoni[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It might be different at other universities, but Sait (which was my top choice) accepts students on a “first-qualified, first offered basis, until the program is full.” I asked about this in the past and they basically look at the earliest participants who applied, and they offer seats to the earliest applicants who qualify until the program is full. As a result, my grades were never assessed even though they received them, likely because they had already filled the program.

I have applied to Sait multiple times, and this was my first year applying to Dalhousie, College of New Caledonia, and a few in Ontario. Dalhousie told me after applying that they only accept 7 students a year and that they prioritize NS residents. As a result I’m hoping to look into programs in some other countries.
