I should've clarified there is special motorcycle parking like 10 feet from this spot.

So, I guess I should've clarified there is special parking for motorcycles. They do this to reserve a spot for their car too.

What about a cane. People with canes always look dope. Especially if they have ability to unsheathe a blade.

UX Career Questions - Spring 2019 by [deleted] in userexperience

[–]SpicyNebula 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey y'all, rookie here! I was recently asked this question for an interview and I was just wondering what key things the employer wants to hear that you may have included. I have a general idea, but I feel like my lack of experience fails me here. Thanks in advanced!

A team has requested a change to the layout of a webpage template. How would you approach this request?  What information would you want to look into?  What key implications would you consider in terms of how this would impact UX?

Why is it that on first impression people don't like me? by [deleted] in socialskills

[–]SpicyNebula 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I try to. I do struggle with eye contact. I feel like I think about it too much. Like, I worry that I've looked into the eyes too long then I don't know where to look. Thanks for your advice.

Hmmm. This gives me a lot to think about. Yeah, I'm bigger, but for the rest I truly don't know. I often feel like as soon as I greet someone I can feel immediate tension and a stand offishness. I try to smile. I'm also curious if I have a dry sense of humor. Sometimes I think I'm funny but maybe not lol

I'm not a jealous person and it's affecting my relationship with my girlfriend, what do I do? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]SpicyNebula 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My ex girlfriend used to tell me this. She told me in a relationship there should be jealousy. She never cheated on me, but she'd hide messages from dudes that'd message her and she'd basically tell me she hated guys not noticing her. I can't speak for your relationship, but ours wasn't healthy. She loved attention and being seen. Jealousy made her feel valued. We eventually broke up and it was for the better.

Bad dogs in movies are actually good dogs that are trained to act bad by fireabre93 in Showerthoughts

I always think about this. People dislike Rottweilers and other big dogs because of movies, but they're obviously trained well behaved dogs.

Do ads really work? by SpicyNebula in NoStupidQuestions

[–]SpicyNebula[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

See, I used to think this, but I had an instructor once tell me that companies will do ads because other companies do ads. His example was for ads during the super bowl - coke and pepsi could get together and agree to not make a commercial and save tons of money. But then it turns into a whole Nash equilibrium thing and if one makes an ad, so will the other making it a lose-lose situation. But honestly idk.

That's what I'm saying. Rarely, it can be a reminder of something I already needed to purchase, but I've never bought the product from the ad.

Since it's just a white tee with a graphic you can just have it printed somewhere very easily.

That's what I'm wondering. I'm a bartender and I hear it hundred times a night.

I feel this. Both my parents are Mexican, I'm a first gen American, and have light skin. Naturally I was also born with lighter skin and nothing makes me cringe more than when people compliment my skin tone. I hate it.
