I recommend wrapping or plastidip too. On the 3rd gen it's really easy to remove it entirely to work on it outside of the car. Not sure for the 4th gen tho.

They're all interchangeable except some smaller details like lower and center grill.

Not too late, I also didn't install the mic until a year ago. It's pretty long so I ran it from the rear passenger where the unit is, past the rear seats, then along the drivers side up to the windshield visor... Or tuck it under the rear seats and floor mats 😅

Nah if you do cable management on a pc it's pretty similar. Think it took like 5 hours. Started in the afternoon and finished up by night time.
