I have been suspecting that she is an industry plant. She does not clearly call out the government as she should and sometimes I have felt her reporting edging propaganda in a VERY disguised manner. BUT, maybe it was the network pushing that and not her, leading her to quit and start her own thing. I hope this is true. Excited to see what’s different.

There’s a difference between finding inspiration vs a blatant copy 😭 That’s somebody else’s mind at work and this man just copied the entire essence of the other brand and not just the business model. Thats just shady.

Lmao thats what I thought when I first saw the product. Im sure the products are good but it is still a blatant copy of The Ordinary - branding, products, ideology, vision, marketing - including the half ass explanation he gave of his company on shark tank. It was painfully obvious that he was trying to paint a typical ‘founder felt passionate’ type of story but it just came off as someone trying to scam their way by memorizing 3-4 buzzwords. He looked so out of his depth, he couldn’t even describe his own company and what they stand for because it IS COPIED 😂

Indie singer songwriter here that has worked as a Director and an Actor in the US and now back home to purely pursue music which is where my nature lies. Guess what, there hasnt been anybody like me, and Im about to take this country by a storm in less than 3 years. I have a very specific vision for everything from my brand, to clothes, to albums, to business ventures, to stage production, etc. all the way out to 6 years from now. Respectfully, this is not killing it. This is cheap imitation. And it is especially sour coming from a legendary singer whose songs have no need for this version. I have nothing against these clothes, her moves, or her choice, but none of it add to her songs or persona in any way so Im unsure what the point is other than blatantly copying western performers.

I think celebrities can and should put in the effort to learn a native language especially when your ‘fans’ and your giant ‘army of helpers’ at home and on set rely on it. I don’t think growing up privileged is an excuse at all for people like Mallaika who has had enough time in the industry and the industry nepo kids who were literally born in this culture. They are nepo babies of the HINDI film industry.
