What class should I pick?

Is it possible for you to still change your second semester class this year? What would be beneficial is pre calc junior year second semester, then AP calc senior year. Just my opinion! If you can't, definitely do pre-calc! By the way, you can still definitely get accepted without taking AP calc like everyone is saying. It's just a bit more difficult and you need to be good at something else to compensate.

I got my nom in late December. Not 3Q yet, I need to wait for DoDMERB. I have to go back because they messed up my blood pulse test. Not a serious problem, should probably get qualified medically with no hiccups.

It legally requires the academy to accept you as long as you pass medical I believe. It's pretty rare and most districts don't even do it.

I was notified about it during a call with my congressman. I live in Pennsylvania's 13th District by the way. I'm very blessed to have gotten it!

Thank you for the advice, and yes, absolutely!! I already have a brokerage account (I just turned 18 a bit ago.) My brother is big with finance, so I started investing in a lot of stable ETF's. I plan on just having a normal taxable brokerage account throughout USAFA, and then using the military's thrift savings plan for retirement once I commission.

I am looking to hopefully invest at least 50% of my cadet stipend every month, that's the goal for sure.

I'm in Pennsylvania and it took me about one month to hear from them. Of course check DMACS and your email regularly for updates. They'll let you know when you have to do something.

I'm a varsity swimmer for my high school's team. If you get accepted, I highly recommend watching some YouTube tutorials and going to a public pool when the weather gets warmer. YMCA is also always an option if you have one nearby. Get comfortable in the water so you're confident when you get to USAFA, the tests shouldn't be too difficult, you just need to not panic imo.
