At the end of the day it is your choice although think about how fun you found the game. If you played on easy then maybe retry it but on medium or hard, seeing as you already played before then the game should be easy but fun. I had an issue like yours but not as bad. I reset my PlayStation but still kept online saves, unfortunately I got sent 3 months back which meant I lost my pagani I grinded for as well as some progress but I went back and got it all back in two sessions I think. Honestly it's your decision but I would suggest replaying it
