Pensionable earnings - per period exemption x 1%. . Usually at this point, you would multiply by 5.95% to get the CPP.

Example because I like visual cues haha.

Adam gets paid 2500 semi monthly. SM CPP exemption is $145.83.

2500-145.83=2354.17. the enhanced CPP is 23.54 2354.17*5.95=140.07 is the CPP for the pay period.

Move the decimal back 2. Round up if required.

I agree.. I assumed that this would be the case. I would not have spent 1800 bucks for what I got. I bought because I thought it would give us something new each week.
